Welcome to the “Every Hero Has a Story”
Summer Reading Challenge!
This year all incoming students, Grades 1 - 6, in the Atlantic Highlands and Highlands Elementary Schools will participate in this Monmouth County Library-sponsored event. We will kick off the program when Valerie Rago, Monmouth County Library's Children's Librarian, and Daniel Loughran, Tri-District Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction, visit all K-5 classrooms at AHES and HES in the coming weeks.
A student does not have to be a Monmouth County Library member to participate, although we strongly encourage families to take advantage of this free public library system. If you are a Highlands or Atlantic Highlands resident, you can acquire a free Monmouth County Library card by visiting the Atlantic Highlands branch of the Monmouth County Library.
If transportation to the Atlantic Highlands branch of the Monmouth County Library is an issue for you, no problem: please call Daniel Loughran or Rosemary Schutz at 732-872-1476 for assistance in obtaining a card.
“Every Hero Has a Story” registration is now open. Please click here to sign up!
